D. Ohakwe BJ, I would like to thank you so much for all you are doing for me and my difficult hair. I have type 3A,B hair that is texlaxed, dry, brittle, easy to break, thin, and just plain wirey since I moved to Alaska and since I have been trying to stretch my relaxer or decide if I will just go natural. Since I started using your products my hair is soft, well moisturized, has a very nice gloss to it without being oily, and the new growth is so feathery. I now believe that my goal of going natural is within reach. Thank you once again for all your hard work.
T. Baacchor: My dearest Lady, I have just received my deep conditioner order and my gift of Vatika Frosting. I have flipped out over the frosting, I could not get over how delicious the smell (I did want to lick some off my fingers but...) any rubbed some through my hair which thanked me for the gift by shinning and falling about my shoulders with full healthy curls. Some I was happy with at first, others I couldn’t stand right away. It’s truly difficult to find products that are good for your hair and do what you want them to do. The entire HV line does wonderful things to my hair now. I have always had to detangle after washing , but now there's no need. My comb glides right through my hair. I never thought that would be the case. I recently stocked up on several bottles of detangler for just this very reason and now I don’t need them."

I use it to co-wash then apply it to my hair in section making sure to coat every strand, then go about my day. I do this daily alternating with Moist 24/7. I have to use other conditioners sparingly if I plan to leave it on my hair because once it dries I get a white residue on my hair. Well there is not build-up with Moist Pro! And it's super thick which my hair loves and my curls bounce once my hair is dry. Some of you may also recall me always complaining about my crown being frizzy and have almost not curl definition at all, well no more crying form this end!!! And as a plus the fragrance is heavenly, everyone wants to know what brand perfume or lotion I'm wearing!

The Vatika Frosting has a light consistency that penetrates my hair with such ease. Using this product has bumped the look and feel of my hair up to a whole new level. My hair now feels so silky and I don't even have to contend with any frizziness popping up at all. My hair is naturally very dry. And, this product has really helped my hair to sustain more moisture to it without weighing it down. Now, I am able to get deep down hydration but without the heaviness attached with it.
The SheaAloe is a little whipped miracle! I had been looking for a daily moisturizer that I could use possibly all-year-round that penetrates and can give my hair an instant burst of hydration at the same. With this product, I have got all of that and more. This stuff has the perfect whipped consistency to it. It is very creamy and it penetrates the hair rather quickly too. Dear BJ:
I just washed my hair once with amla shampoo, followed with amla cream rinse. Then I deep conditioned with the SitriNillah conditioner for twenty minutes with heat. I will NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE.
Hairveda is what I have been looking for - a product with integrity, low on chemicals, high on quality, that treated my hair right.I have texlaxed 3c hair that is fine and fragile. After using your products, my hair is so soft, so manageable, so light and fluffy. I was worried that with all the exercise I do, your shampoo products would not cleanse my hair enough. I was wrong! My hair is clean, but not stripped. I flat ironed my curls in a few places just so I could see if my hair had movement. It's very bouncy and shiny. It smells lovely. I am super impressed.
The products smell so wonderful.. My hair feels nourished. Detangling after shampooing was not even necessary. (and that's a first for me.) My hair had awesome "silicone" free slip. I shed quite a bit and the shedding was cut in half. I'm in heaven!
I have never experienced anything like your products. I am going to purchase salon size bottles as soon as I can. I would just die if you stop making this stuff!
I also use your shea aloe butter for my edges: almond glaze for edges when my hair is wet; vatika frosting for pre pooing and to mix with my former conditioner; whipped Cream as a leave in after shampoo, also to slick down my ponytails and to moisturize my hair when needed. I love each and every product I have tried.
I have tried many natural and organic hair care lines. I can stop looking now. Hairveda is the truth!

| S. Tillett : Hi BJ, I got my products this past Saturday and all I can say is OH MY GOSH!!!!!! First, I have to compliment you on your packaging which was very nicely done; so many times I've ordered products only to find that some of the oils have seeped out. Second, the smell, good Lord BJ I spent at least 30 minutes sitting on the bed smelling the goodies when I first opened the package, my son swore I was playing a joke with the Vatika frosting, he really wanted to try and eat it...lol!! Lastly, your products are DA TRUTH!!! I have been natural about a complete year and it has been so frustrating trying to find products that work for my 4B hair which is extremely dry until HairVeda...my hair is so moisturized and soft I cleared out 90% of my products from under my sink and in my closet and put yours there because I know they are there to stay. I think I ordered every product you have and everything I've used so far exceeds my expectations! Thank you so very much....keep doing what you're doing and know that people like myself appreciate the sacrifices your family and staff endure to make such wonderful products for us.

Here's my story ....
It started in Sept 2007. Friday, I got my Hairveda products (whipped cream, vatika frosting, and almond glaze). I was all from ear to ear. Girl, those products smell sooooooooo good. The little women (6, 4, and 1 year old) were all over my box when I opened it. Then I opened the products and started smelling them. The little women were right with me smelling the products . Ms. Thang (4 yr old) asked if we can eat it. I had to keep telling Ms. Thang it wasn't food but for her hair. This was the first time she ever wanted her hair combed/brushed. She asked if I was going to comb her hair and went to get her hair box. Any other time she has an attitude and trying to tell me her hair doesn't need to be combed. She said the "Vatika Frosting smelled like cake icing and it's deeeee lickable".
Saturday--
We prepare to get dressed. She (4 yr old) hasn't forgotten about my products. Should have known she was up to something when she mentioned getting her hair combed. I get the products let her smell them again and she wants me to use the almond glaze. She kept telling my husband and everyone else we knew to smell her hair at this birthday party we attended. I know she's going to mess up those ponytails because she wants me to use the almond glaze or vatika frosting.
Sunday-- I use the vatika frosting as a prepoo. My hair was so soft. Then I did a few twist with the almond glaze. Felt so moisturized and smelled so good. I was on the couch twisting my hair when and Ms. Thang kept eyeing me. Then she casually came to sit beside me and kept smelling the jar. She even tried to sneak and put her finger in the lid on the sly put some on her hair.
Whipped Baggy Cream-- Yes, this stuff is WONDERFUL. I use it as baggy method, prepoo, and yes I've even put a bit in my husband's shampoo to help control his dandruff. Don't let me get on the almond glaze (HEAVENLY) that keeps my natural 4b hair moisturized and my twists looking juicy (not dry). I even apply the almond glaze to my cornrow braid or when I get box braids to keep my hair from getting dry. I know I was suppose to seal my ends but after a few weeks I became undedicated to the cause and I used it as a daily moisturizer.

Shakiaka Shampoo--This stuff is the truth. This is coming from a man (my hubby) who suffers from a horrible dandruff problem if he doesn't wash his hair daily. Ladies, he's used everything from medicated shampoos to finally Sulfur 8 which was helping control it but he hated the smell. He started using my Shakiah shampoo and loves this stuff. He's requesting BJ makes it in 32 oz bottle. He says it leaves his hair squeakly clean but doesn't dry it out like the other shampoo he uses. Seriously, I need to get him his own bottle because he washes his hair daily and my bottles is quickly becoming less and less.
Sitri-Nillah Deep Conditioning Masque -- THE BEST DEEP CONDITIONER I HAVE EVER USED. I have hard water in Japan and this stuff leaves my hair soft and moisturized.
CoCasta Shikakai Herbal Hair Oil-- Love this stuff. Why does everyone keep telling me I smell like butterscotch or kettle popcorn? I don't care. I use daily with my while my hair is cornrowed. However, I have noticed that when I take my cornrows out my hair is really moisturized and not dry raggedity looking. I've even used it on my body, too.
Moist Condition PRO--I haven't used it yet. I'm thinking of shipping it to my mom.
I think I am going to purchase the Moist-Condition 24/7 for my weekly co-washed and leave the Coconut Sauve alone.
BJ- Why do you make these products smell so good? Oh, Ms. Thang has a nose like a hound dog. I sprayed my hair with the CoCasta oil for work stopped by their house on the way home. She gave me a hug and said "Hmm, your hair smells good...like butterscotch?" Then she proceeds to say my hair always smells good like food and the "cake frosting" hair stuff.....

Now I've been sweet free for 2 months now and smelling that Vatika Frosting got me wanting a pound cake y'all. I'm trying to be strong. I didn't know you had to request a fragrance. I didn't, but I like the fragrance I got.
I'm in cornrows now and I just put a little bit around my edges. Now I'm walking around smelling my fingers looking all crazy and about to crack and go get a pound cake....

DO YOU KNOW?!?! I clarified my hair...and we all know how great of an experience clarifying washes can be! But I had been using a silicon hair glosser and I needed to remove the buildup. And whenever I clarify my hair feels like sandpaper. So, afterwards I reached for your deep conditioner.
FIRST OF ALL...it's sooooo thick and luscious!!! I mean really rich and luxurious! I felt like I was freeloading off of someone else's "good hair stuff". And a little goes a long way. I saturated my hair in that creamy orangey goodness!! And put me a shower cap on and went to sleep. One drawback though...I almost had to beat my hubby off of me cause he was all in my neck and sniffing behind my ears and said I smelled like a Orange Creamcicle! When I woke up this morning to wash it out my hair felt like SILK!!! I said SILK Billy...do you hear me? The comb slid through my new growth like a hot knife through butter...and right then I said "Thank You Lord for Billy Jean...may her business be blessed with sooooo much overflow that there won't be room enough to receive!!!"I'm telling you...if this product made me fall in love like this...I can only imagine how the other ones are. You aren't playing, huh? I mean you're really providing a quality product and I am sooooo happy to have been able to sample this conditioner. I am hooked.
